Prof. Ts. Dr. Haryani Haron

Professor Ts Dr Haryani Haron is currently heading the Faculty of Computer & Mathematical Sciences (FSKM) of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia. She is a professor of Computer Science and her area of expertise includes Knowledge Management, Industrial Informatics, Information Technology, Information System Methodology and Citizen Science. Professor Ts Dr Haryani obtained her first degree of Computer Science in 1986 from Arkansas State University, USA and completed her Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia in 2009.

She has remarked herself in the academic ventures by producing more than 40 academic articles, 34 conference papers and actively involved in three knowledge transfer projects. Currently she has been appointed as the National UNESCO Committee of Malaysia.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria Ganzha

Maria Ganzha is an Associate Professor at the Warsaw University of Technology (Warsaw, Poland). She got an MS and a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the Moscow State University, Russia, and a Doctor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Polish Academy of Sciences. Maria has published closed to 200 research papers, is on editorial boards of 5 journals and a book series, and was invited to program committees of more than 250 conferences. She is also the Principal Investigator, of the SRIPAS team, in the INTER-IoT project. Here, her team is responsible for use of semantic technologies in the context of interoperability of IoT platforms.

Mohammad Shazri Bin Shahrir

Principal Data Scientist, Vettons

Shazri currently holds the position of Principal Data Scientist at Vettons. Previously he was a Senior Data Scientist at Moneylion. Prior to Moneylion he was the Chief Analytics for Invoke that assisted in winning the 14th Malaysian General Election. Prior to working in the startup space, he has corporate experience namely he was the Head of Research at Axiata Intelligence Unit, and, previously he was the Head of Analytics and Computation at Telekom Malaysia Research and Development (TM R&D). Prior to TM R&D, he was the Head of Product Development and Research at Extol MSC Berhad. He received his degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham and his Masters in Mathematics from the University of Malaya. He has 12 years' worth of experience in industrial research and commercialization. He has publications in Photobiology, Image Processing, Applied Mathematics, and Machine Learning. His main interests are in Machine Learning and Numerical Methods

Full Paper Submission Guidelines

  • Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of 4 to maximum 6 pages (A4 size), however, if the number of pages exceeds author will have to pay RM200/USD50 per page while paying registration fees.

  • Each paper must be original and unpublished work, has not been submitted for other publication elsewhere.

  • Authors should ensure that the similarity in the paper as per Turnitin / authenticate software is not more than 25%. The papers submitted with a similarity above 25% shall not be processed for review.

  • All papers submitted must follow the IEEE Conference format which can be downloaded from the following link

  • The authors must not indicate their names, affiliations and acknowledgments in the body of the submitted paper. The authors only give their personal information during online paper submission in EDAS must be attached.

  • If authors encounter any problem/s during submission, please refer to this guideline. Click Here.

  • A peer-review process will be used to evaluate all the eligible papers submitted for consideration.

 

 

For Authors Action Upon Paper Acceptance

  • Authors may start preparing for the conference.

  • At least one author need to register and present the paper.

  • If the paper is accepted, registered but not presented, shall not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

 

Revise Your Paper

  • Take into account the suggestions and corrections highlighted by the reviewers and prepare a compliance report table as Sr. No.- Correction Advised --- Correction Incorporated / Justification.

  • The length of the final paper should be no more than 6 pages in A4 size, including figures, tables and references.

  • Please use the given template either in Word or in Latex and do not use any other template. Failure to do so may result in your paper exclusion from IEEE Xplore.

Register And Pay The Conference Fee

  • All registrations will be done through specific track email ids given on the Registration page.

  • The payment (local and international presenters) has to be made to the conference account prior to registration.

  • For IEEE members, it would be necessary to submit IEEE membership ID.

  • For student author, would submit the scanned copy of your student identification card.

 

Upload The Camera Ready Paper

  • The camera ready paper must be checked through; PDF eXpress website using Conference ID: that will be updated soon using https://ieee-pdf-express.org and the pdfexpress pass report must be attached.

  • Camera Ready paper should be exactly as per template with fonts embedded and passed through pdfexpress with similarity less than 25%.

Arrange Your Tavel And Accommodation

  • Depending on your nationality, you may be required to apply for a visa in advance to enter Malaysia.

  • The accommodation details are provided on the website which could be used for direct booking of your accommodation through the hotel’s official website or through the many hotel reservation sites such as Booking.com, Agoda, etc.

Paper Submission

The manuscript written should be thoroughly checked for grammatical or typographical errors before submission. Authors should ensure that the similarity score of their research paper is not above 25%. Manuscripts having similarity score more than 25% shall not be processed. All the review manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format without authors name and affiliations using EDAS written as per IEEE Template in Word (A4) or in Latex.

However the names of all authors should be registered on EDAS while submission.

Review Process

All the paper having similarity score less than 25 % shall be processed through double-blind review by the members on Technical Program Committee. There will be following probable review results;

  • Accepted for Oral presentation

  • Accepted with minor corrections for Oral Presentation

  • Rejected

Camera Ready Paper

​

 

Oral Presentation

The author / presenter shall prepare 15 minutes presentation about the research paper contribution including Objective, Justification, Methodology, Results, and Conclusion as per template here.


There will be 3-5 minutes query time. Presentation scheduled will be updated later.

 

Copyright Form:

  • The scanned copy of copyright form with due signature of all the authors need to be submitted along with the registration form.

  • IEEE Copyright Form

Document Submission:

Soft Copy Submission

  • All file names should begin with Paper Id.

  • For the papers accepted with minor corrections, authors will be required to incorporate all the corrections and submit the paper along with compliance with the corrections.

  • The Scan copy of Camera Ready Copy (CRC) of paper in word and pdf (Passed with PDF Express), IEEE Copyright Form, Turn-It-In Report, Slide Presentation and Video presentation(include presenter and slide presentation) should be sent to;
